Women Are Reviewing the SAF Boot Camp on TripAdvisor, and It’s Hilarious

Tourist Trap

Women’s Boot Camp quite average only. Not as bad as some people say but also nothing special. Maybe standard dropped from last time. Not really worth going unless you got special interest in army stuff. I only go because PAssion card got $10 discount.

Cheap But Fantastic

I paid $55 for 1 night stay at the Women’s Boot Camp and was not disappointed. Although the facilities a little run-down, we got a chance to try some really interesting activities  The highlight for me was definitely rifle shooting because I never use gun before unless you count playing time crisis with my sec 3 boyfriend haha.

At first it was quite hard and I missed everything because the SAR23 damn heavy but it was much easier after I followed the instructor’s advice and sat down. It was so exciting to hit something!! Too bad I forgot to take Insta-story

Apart from that, I really want to commend the staff for their excellent service. Everyone was so polite and helpful during my entire stay. They made me feel so welcome that Boot camp was like home-away-from-home! Can’t wait for the Navy or air force Boot Camp!!!

5 Stars. IS THE BEST.

I am not a woman. I am actually PES C storeman from Maju camp. But my encik say I must write a good review of Women’s Boot Camp or else I cannot book out. Fuck SAF. Fucking retarded. Cb damn boliao.

Women’s Boot Camp is the best. The rooms are spacious. The service is top-notch. The view is spectacular. The cookhouse food got three Michelin stars and better than Gordon Ramsay’s wet dream. 10/10 will attend again if I go Thailand for operation and become a girl.

Luxury In Heart Of Singapore Forest

I am a real woman who attended the Womaen’s Boot Camp in person last weekend. It is very good expirience for those zhar bo who never go NS before. Don’t listen to all these guai lan people anyhow talk cock say SAF not good. Their review obviously very bias.

Worst experience ever

The combat ration taste like dog food and I couldn’t sleep because my neighbour keep snoring. When I complained about it to the service staff, he rummaged in his bag and gave me a pair of earplugs. Needless to say, they didn’t help.

Don’t Go! Terrible Waste Of Time!

Women’s Boot Camp was marketed as one of 2018’s Must-Visit destinations so I was naturally quite curious. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the worst staycation I’ve ever had.

After we arrived at the camp, our tour group was kept waiting with our luggage for more than 15 minutes. When I approached a nearby bellboy in a red beret, he laughed and told me ‘I not bellboy ma’am’.

Rude much.

Things only got worse. Our shabby-looking hotel had this weird ‘parade square’ thing instead of a lobby and no lift, so I had to trudge up 4 flights of stairs with suitcase in tow. When I opened the doors of my suite, I found 10 other guests staring back at me, like some kind of cheap hostel.

Before I could lodge a strongly-worded complaint to their guest relations officer, they called us down for lunch. Or rather, what passes for lunch around here.

Their ‘Cookhouse’ buffet had only four dishes with rice. No degustation menu. No wine list. Not even a daily special. The food did not taste freshly-cooked and it was piled unceremoniously onto our plates with no effort made at presentation. I had to wash down every disgusting bite with ‘orange juice’ that I strongly suspected to be made from cordial. After hearing my complaints, the cookhouse maitre’d offered to take me to their ‘canteen’ but I declined his offer.

Stressed and flustered, I decided to return to my ‘room’ and take a long, hot shower to soothe my nerves. So imagine my shock when I turned on the tap and was greeted by a blast of freezing cold water! I tried to inform the front desk about their broken heater but there was apparently no front desk and no water heater!!!!

At this point, I had enough of this terrible glamping trip and decided to leave. The manager in charge tried to talk me down and explain that my complaints were ‘part of the experience’. What a lame excuse! Trying to rebrand ‘deprivations’ as some kind of ‘national honour’!

If you’re reading this, please stay far away from so-called ‘Camp’, it is a total scam and nothing close to what was promised.

A Unique, Life-Changing Experience

I didn’t know much about the SAF brand beforehand but I am so glad that I YOLO’d. It just goes to show the universe will always guide you

Maju x SAF is a beautifulEcolodge surrounded by acres of pristine rainforest. Unlike many other eco-tourism ventures, SAF x Maju is 100% committed to saving our earth. How do I know this? Well, 1) the rooms use natural ventilation methods instead of air-conditioning. 2) To conserve energy, the water is not heated and 3) all lights are out by 10 p.m. so as not to disturb the forests’ nocturnal wildlife. 4) The bunk’s minimalist furnishings are obviously recycled and 5) no toiletries are provided for fear of polluting Bukit Timah’s many waterways.

The service staff are incredibly friendly and the resort’s activities really helped me to reconnect with nature and my own body. I especially loved their signature spa ‘Camo’, which uses all-natural creams to exfoliate the clogged pores on my face.

At the end of my 2-day stay, I was filled with a profound sense of peace and wellness. Wish I could stay for longer!!!
